El Fasher Emergency: Help Families Survive
The conflict in Al-Fashir, North Darfur, and Barah, North Kordofan, escalated on October 25, 2025. This has caused a severe humanitarian crisis, with thousands killed, wounded, and displaced. Armed clashes destroyed infrastructure, separated families, and cut off access to basic services.
This left civilians ,particularly women, children, and the elderly ,without food, water, or shelter. According to the UN migration agency, IOM,
nearly 82,000 people have fled Al Fasher and surrounding areas since October 26.
Sadagaat's Emergency Response in Tawila
In Tawila, approximately 80 km west of Al Fasher, local authorities estimate around 20,000 additional people have arrived. Many individuals sought refuge in these areas, arriving hungry, exhausted, and traumatized after days without food. Others have taken a longer trip to Al Dabbah. The journey to Al-Dabbah, over 1,200 km away, was difficult and dangerous. Many new arrivals faced dire conditions in overcrowded camps that lacked sufficient resources.
From Barah, people have fled to Alobaid, approximately 40 km west, and Omdurman, Khartoum, approximately 350 km northeast. The estimated displaced population in Alobaid is around 20,000, all of whom are in immediate need of food.

Al-Udhiya
Sadagaat USA simplifies the Udhiya process by performing sacrifices on behalf of donors. We carefully select calves that meet religious requirements and offer more meat, allowing them to feed more people in need. Each calf is divided into seven shares, with one share equaling a complete Udhiya. This approach enables more donors to participate and increases the number of families who receive assistance. After the sacrifice, the meat is distributed to poor families and vulnerable groups within and outside Khartoum State. Iftar Meals
During Ramadan, Sadagaat USA operates 45 central kitchens across 8 states and 12 cities to provide fresh Iftar meals. This initiative supports fasting individuals who have been displaced by war, conflict, or lack of resources. With over 24 million people, including 14 million children, struggling to find their next meal, this project is crucial. By offering nutritious meals, Sadagaat USA helps those in need experience Ramadan with dignity. It also serves as a way to bring communities together during this important time, ensuring that even those facing hardship can break their fast with a proper meal.
Zakat ul Fitr
Zakat ul Fitr is an essential Islamic charity given at the end of Ramadan, purifying fasting people and aiding the poor. Sadagaat USA simplifies this obligation by collecting and distributing Zakat ul Fitr across Sudan to the needy.
